Not sure why, as I was using AccountEdge Pro, no idea what the network edition does, and no idea why my AccountEdge Pro that I own has disappeared from availability.

However when I do log in it does display on the log in page upgrade to AccountEdge Network edition for free. I have tried on several computers in case it is because of my old OSx causing issues, but nothing. When I log into my.myob account and go to the available downloads section, there is absolutely nothing there. I just thought the downloads would still be available when I chose to upgrade down the track, or if I bought a new computer they would still be there for download as I owned the product.

I was paying $100 a month for support and upgrades but I never bothered upgrading the program because we weren't doing payroll ourselves (we outsourced it) so didn't need tax table updates. I am sure I probably am entitled to a higher version. Once you have got all sorted with AccountEdge v17.5 then you would be free to upgrade that OS to Mojave (not Catalina, as AccountEdge will not be a Catalina compliant). If they are all the serial number ending in 8600, you would be free to install AccountEdge v17.5 and use those files with that version. Knowing that information, my recommendation would be to open all the company files in AccountEdge you currently have and go to Setup>Company Information and check that serial number. AccountEdge v17.5 being compatible with OS X 10.9 - 10.14. However, in saying all of that, just taking a look at your account (serial number ending in 8600) is actually licenced to use AccountEdge Pro v17.5. Generally speaking, if you have the product already installed and migrated to a higher OS X it is typically fine, it only becomes a problem with reinstalling. In saying that, while the program is not actually tested some clients have gotten those older products to work as intended. AccountEdge Pro v16 is tested and supported on OS X 10.9 (Maverick) to 10.13 (High Sierra). Hi mentioned that you currently have AccountEdge v16, this particular version has not been tested and therefore not supported on later OS X versions such as Catalina or Mojave.

Website keeps saying that they are 'working on a solution' to Catalina, and for months I assumed there would be an update release coming, but from comments on forums it sounds like there is no intention to find a solution. Also, would appreciate a bit of honesty from MYOB. I was paying $100 a month for support for years and every time I needed it could never get through. I need to upgrade my operating system ASAP to keep using my other programs, if I upgrade to Mojave will AccountEdge Pro v16 still work? If not, will this email offering free v18.6 be usable? No mention of V18.6, but it says there is an Accountedge Network edition available for free download. I log in to the my.MYOB portal to see what downloads are available. Ok, so now my blood pressure is really rising.

After 10 minutes on hold MYOB just hung up and cancelled my call. I asked about Mojave and v16, he said he had no idea, and that he didn't know anything about computers.Seriously? I can't install Catalina obviously, but I could install Mojave which would be sufficient for my other programs to work.
